Ranjit Singh Gill's arc spans three decades: starting as a realtor in Rupnagar in 1990, founding GILLCO Group in 2001 to create integrated communities, launching an educational institution in 2013, and engaging in public service across two assembly campaigns and a recent transition to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Ranjit Singh Gill began his career as a realtor in Rupnagar in 1990, building relationships and understanding community needs across North India. In 2001, he founded GILLCO Group together with his wife Paramjit Gill, establishing a vision to create integrated, sustainable communities. The group has since developed flagship projects including Gillco Valley, Gillco Meraqui (an ultra-luxury residential community of 444 residences across 12 acres in Sector 126, Mohali), Gillco Industrial Park, and Gillco Parkhills.

In 2013, Ranjit Singh Gill expanded his vision beyond real estate by founding Gillco International School (CBSE curriculum, Sector 127, Mohali), reflecting his commitment to community development beyond physical infrastructure. The school represents his belief that community building encompasses education, opportunity, and people-centered growth.

His engagement in public service reflects his deep commitment to Kharar and equitable development. He contested the Kharar assembly seat on the Shiromani Akali Dal ticket in 2017 (finishing third) and again in 2022 on the SAD-BSP alliance ticket (finishing second). These campaigns gave him direct connection to grassroots concerns and strengthened his conviction in people-first governance.

In July 2025, Ranjit Singh Gill resigned his primary membership from the Shiromani Akali Dal. On August 1, 2025, he was inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini at his Chandigarh residence, marking a new chapter in his political journey.

Contested Kharar assembly seat again on SAD-BSP alliance ticket. Finished second, demonstrating strong community support and commitment to equitable development.

Resigned from Shiromani Akali Dal
Resigned primary membership from Shiromani Akali Dal, marking a transition in his political journey.
August 1, 2025
Joined Bharatiya Janata Party
Inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini at his Chandigarh residence, opening a new chapter in his commitment to public service and people-first governance.
